Social theory - Among the scholars who propounded the theory based on social rules were Henry George, Arsen Dument, David Ricardo and Karl Marx.

Natural Theory - This theory was first presented by Robert Malthus. Among his other scholars were Thomas Dubbalde and Herbert Spencer etc.
